CranioSacral Therapy with Monika Volkmar
Could CranioSacral Therapy help you?
It has been truly inspiring to be working alongside the talented and skilled practitioners at EsoLab as one of my highest values is to always be in an environment where I can learn and evolve, personally and professionally.
In the past several months it has been truly rewarding to be able to help people resolve chronic pain with craniosacral therapy and simple exercises that connect the dots between body parts to resolve long-standing movement compensation patterns.
One of my favourite cases this month was a woman who had come in for help with knee pain. We found that her knee biomechanics improved significantly after releasing restriction and correcting asymmetries in her jaw and hard palate- A result of having a palate expander and sinus surgery as a child. Amazingly, her knee pain resolved almost completely after just working with her jaw and palate using craniosacral therapy. The body never ceases to amaze me!
In March I was also given permission to facilitate an official Upledger Institute craniosacral therapy study group at EsoLab- the first one to take place in Melbourne since pre-COVID.. I'm excited to hold a monthly study group and to have EsoLab as a hub for Upledger CST learning and treatment in Melbourne. I'm looking forward to spending more time learning from all the practitioners at EsoLab and exploring the local area. Thank you Jen and everyone at EsoLab for welcoming me into your clinic.
