What is Dry-needling? Similar to Acupuncture, Dry-needling is the insertion of acupuncture needles into the soft tissue of the body that is experiencing dysfunction. Usually, an excess of inflammation, overstrain, sprain, or spasm. Dry-needling will be used by your practitioner to address this tissue irritation, pain and limited range of movement by resolving movement barriers, optimising movement efficiency, and normalising tissue function. Using a range of needling techniques to stimulate the local production of pain-modulating hormones, you can alter the muscle and pain responses and immediately improve the range of movement and pain.
